Another bat player (who must be at least level 8) can repeatedly use Virulent Bite on you for a chance to give the Fevered Trismus disease which will change you into a bat after two hours of logged-in real time. During the Halloween event, one may also be bitten by an enemy bat's rage attack for Fevered Trismus. Finally, enemy bats on the lower levels of the [[Labyrinth]] or [[Gazluk Keep]] dungeons can inflict Fevered Trismus on players.
==== 2023 Special Event ====
Until July 20, 2023, the [[Happy-Go-Lucky Bat]] (normally available only during Halloween) is temporarily located right outside of the north gate of [[Serbule]], by the bridge. He will transform players into a Giant Bat (and back) for free, along with offering training for Giant Bat skills.
This can be used by any character, including newly made ones that just freshly arrived from [[Anagoge Island]]
