Getting to the Egg Run Location
Players typically gather in the main hallway of Red Wing Casino shortly before an egg run, and at the designated time someone will summon a portal to the Teleportation Machine. The players will all go through the portal and use the Teleportation Machine to travel to the egg run start room in Aktaari Cave using the code 9664 (verified correct October 28th 2025). There will usually be around 8 minutes left on the timer before the egg run actually begins, and players use this time to form groups and buff up.

Egg Run Groups
Players will typically form up into random groups before an egg run starts. You will see many players saying "lfg" in nearby chat before an egg run starts, to let other players know they're looking for a group. It's important that all group leaders remember to type /loot unchecked before the run starts. Otherwise if that group does the most damage to a loot-dropping enemy, other groups will be unable to get their loot from it. If that happens, expect all the people who didn't get their loot to raise hell in chat.
The Egg Run Timer
The Egg Run Quest
Upon entering When the Aktaari Cavetimer reaches zero and the egg run begins, all players should talk to Cheb to get the will automatically receive a quest for the egg run event. The quest objectives are to participate in the killing of three Royal Aktaari (minibosses found along the way during the event) and to smash all of the Royal Eggs in the dungeon. If for whatever reason you miss an objective and are unable to complete the quest with Cheb after the egg run, it's not the end of the world, it happens. You'll keep the credit for the objectives you completed, so you'll be practically guaranteed to complete the quest on your next egg run.
Egg Run Mechanics
As soon as the timer reaches zero and the door into the Aktaari Cave opens, the mob of players will immediately begin speedrunning the dungeon as fast as they can, so be ready to keep up. Windstep Shoes can help a ton here, as well as any abilities you have that make you run faster. Spider Speed Potion wouldn't be a bad idea either. It's normal to feel overwhelmed the first time, especially with the fast pace, but you'll quickly catch on get used to the rhythm and start getting more comfortable. It's actually pretty simple after you've done it once or twicequickly.* If you die, DO NOT CLICK RESPAWN!! it's usually best not to respawn, but instead wait for someone to resuscitate you. If you dorespawn, you will NOT be sent back to the egg run door - you will 'll be sent all the way taken to the entrance of Errruka's Cave. Instead, just lay but from there on you can cast Recall Beginnings it will take you back to the ground and wait for someone egg run start room (assuming you came to revive you (it happens a lot, don't worry about itegg run via the Teleportation Machine).* The players will rapidly progress through a long series of rooms connected by hallways. The rooms and hallways are all densely filled with level 85-95 Aktaari enemies. Particularly dangerous are the Aktaari Cock enemies, which will call all nearby enemies in a very large radius to assist it.* Most rooms will contain one Royal Egg and one Xogrite Chunk, both laying on the ground. Smash every egg and loot every chunk. Each player must personally smash every egg or they won't get quest credit. The eggs will respawn on every egg run, but the chunks won't respawn until 72 hours after you loot them. The enemies won't respawn until the next egg run, so if you accidentally miss an egg or a chunk, it's safe to go back and look for them (although you might miss out on a miniboss kill while you're away from the group).* Some rooms will contain a special miniboss named Knight Egg. It looks like a Royal Egg, but itYou's actually ll know one is nearby whenever you see a miniboss that always drops good lootbunch of Maggot enemies appear. Make sure to loot themthe Knight Egg's corpse after you see maggots!* Some rooms will contain a "royal" miniboss, such as the Aktaari Princess and Aktaari Queen. Make sure you participate in these fights because these royal kills are necessary to complete the event quest, and they also drop good loot. These royals are also accompanied by Royal Guard enemies - they ; these also drop good loot, so make sure to get them too!* At the end of the dungeon is a portal. DO NOT TAKE THE PORTAL!!. The portal is a trap. Instead, ignore the portal and follow the other players past it, to the final room with the final royal enemy.
===Post-Egg Run Traditions and Customs===* After the egg run is complete, most players will teleport back to the start room by either casting Recall Beginnings, or else by logging out & then logging back in.* Back in the start room, talk to Cheb to complete the event quest and get the quest reward. If you didn't get all the objectives and can't complete the quest, then whatever objectives you did complete will count towards your next egg run.* After each egg run, it is customary for many players to will stand in the start room and link in chat any skill books or recipes they got during the run which they don't want to keep. If one player wants a book or recipe that another player links in chat, they send them a tell asking for it, and then trade the person one of their own skill books in exchange as a friendly gesture of fair trade. It is customary 's polite to link your unwanted books & recipes in chat then wait a few minutes to see if anybody needs any of the books or recipes you linkedthem, and if not then you can sell any unwanted ones them to Cheb.* Egg runs usually finish long before the 60 minute timer reaches zero. However, if you wait in the zone until the timer reaches zero and then talk to Cheb, you will get an additional reward of 2 more skill books.
* Someone will usually summon a portal back to Red Wing Casino and the egg run is now complete!
