Roleplaying (often abbreviated as RP) is a social activity in which a players adopts and acts out the role of their character within the world of Alharth. A player who partakes in roleplay is called a roleplayer.
Lore
For better immersion, a player should be familiar with the lore of Alharth. The Register of Lore is useful in this regard. This is not to be confused with the player skill, Lore. See also Timeline.
Roleplay Commands
There are many chat commands that are useful in roleplay. For a full list of emotes and commands, see User Interface.
| /wave | Plays a short animation of your character waving. |
| /n <message> | Send a message to nearby players, equivalent to local or say in other MMOs. |
| /e or /em | Perform a custom emote. Can be targeted with %t |
| /roll 2d6 | Roll two six-sided dice and announce the results. Can be any number of any sized dice, such as 3d20. |
Roleplay Chat Room
For discussing roleplay and finding roleplayers, the Roleplay custom chat room has been created. This is an OOC space.
| /join Roleplay | Joins the Roleplay chat room. |
| /leave Roleplay | Leaves the Roleplay chat room. |
