“Understanding of the rich history of art in Allhearth.
The purpose of Art History appears to be to identify pieces of art in order to sell them at a higher value. Another purpose may also be to receive more favor from NPCs who love art such as Sir Coth (to be confirmed).
For example many paintings can be found in the Goblin Dungeon. When these are picked up they appear as Unidentified Painting along with the required Art History level to identify it.
Assuming you have acquired the skill, simply right the painting to appraise (ie. estimate) its true value.
Here are a few examples of identified paintings, roughly in order of increasing value:
Painting | Value |
---|---|
Student Painting | 10 |
Bland Waterfall Painting | 20 |
Forest Painting | 30 |
Well-Framed Painting | 40 |
Goblin Painting | 50 |
Numbered Etrigard Painting | 100 |
Peaceful Scene | 250 |
How to obtain

Locations for Paintings
- Crypt : There are a few rooms with platforms and ledges from which you can grab paintings.
- Goblin Dungeon : Many paintings are found in the first big room, left branch, where a fairy is captive.
