Those who receive this experience often report seeing vague ideas or hearing strange voices in their head. As skill in [[Myconic]] improves, the messages become clearer.
Once [[Myconic]] is learned, gathering mushrooms of any variety has a chance to grant experience. Travelers often raise their [[Myconic]] in [[Serbule]] and [[Eltibule]], areas with large quantities of mushrooms compared to the later arid regions of [[Ilmari]] and [[Rahu]].

Speaking with one of these unusual shrooms will transport the speaker to the [[Myconian Cave]], a tunnel network under the region. In the cave system, sentient Myconians can be spoken to, such as [[Poe]] and [[Way]].
