He is following notes left behind by the [[Duke of Serbule]] which suggested that the Duke entered the ruins to discover lost Statuary related designs. Leonard is convinced that the Duke was instead attempting to find an entrance to [[Mt. Aufghel]], a legendary dwarven mountain. Leonard found an old tome that led him to this conclusion. He seems happy that [[Serbule]] is located far from the Council in [[Statehelm]].
Leonard also tinkers with Golems. He wants to find proof that golems exist inside [[Borghild]].
