An old elf named Elmetaph said he could teach you [[Teleportation]]. You just need to find an [[Amethyst|amethyst ]] first.
He suggested you search around the old teleportation platforms for lost gems, but mentioned that amethysts might be found anywhere on the island.
Don't you curse at me, young man! There's still a chance. Lots of students had their teleportation trials on this island, and they all brought spare amethysts, so there's bound to be some hidden around somewhere.
