[[Invasion of the World Bosses]] occurs when an unknown probably-magical phenomena causes tremendously powerful copies of named creatures to appear across Alharth. Named World Bosses, these mighty foes always appear like clockwork once defeated, suggesting a higher purpose to their summoning.
==== How It Works ====
Upon logging in, all players have a quest in their quests log listing each boss and asking you to loot the reward chests. There is a warning sign in [[Serbule Hills]] among some big rocks in the northwest of this region, directly west of the Tapestry Inn. Interacting with this sign shows the time remaining until the first boss, Empusa, appears. Once Empusa is killed, a yellow beacon of light shines in the air from a chest that anyone who contributed to defeating her can claim loot from. You can choose to come back later to get the loot, if you want to think about it or make space in your inventory. A pink portal to the next world boss will spawn. Each boss has a rewards chest and a portal that spawns leading to the next boss until the final one, Hot Flash, who spawns a portal to [[Serbule]] and to the [[Red Wing Casino]]. The portals going from one boss to the next are active for one hour.

During the April Invasion, Fae-Anchoring signs were introduced at each boss location. Additionally, players were able to loot every boss as many times as they wanted, but would only get a bonus chest reward three times per boss.
