Merchants The Project: Gorgon wiki categorizes NPCs that purchase or sell items as a [[:Category:Shopkeeper|Shopkeeper]]. There are sorted by usefulnesstwo sub-categories under shopkeeper, within each zone[[:Category:Buyer|Buyer]] and [[:Category:Seller|Seller]]. An NPC shopkeeper can have both sub-categories, or just one. Not every shopkeeper NPC will purchase items from players. [[Aven]] is an example of an NPC who only offers items for sale.
