I have 8 possible gallery images that show almost step by step, the survey process. Screenshots are in 1920x 1080 rez. I'd be more then happy to share this for the Survey gallery. Need to know what size they should be, and seeing as I have not made any edits to the Wiki yet, maybe someone else should add these.
Let me know if you all want me to share the images.
- Hello! Images can be any size you want, as long as the file size itself is under 2MB. I would suggest you start by using the Upload file page on the left navigation to upload files, and after they are added I can take a look and see if they would display best in a gallery or on a sub-page. - I'll check and re-size if over the recommended file size. Hopefully I can upload day after tomorrow, as I have used up all my "alloted game time" today and wont be around on Wed. Thanks for the quick response. I'll update this once the images are uploaded.
- Hey, Indigo! (Looks like BetaNotus already responded). Try to remember to sign your talk page comments with four tildes at the end, to get your username and timetstamp to appear. You might want to check out MediaWiki Help on Talk Pages if you haven't yet. Some other useful tips for getting started can be found at Project_Gorgon_Wiki:How_to_help. The information at Mediawiki Help On Image Galleries may be useful for what you're doing at the moment. To get started on uploading files head to Special:Upload (or click 'Upload file' on the sidebar to the left).
- As far as size, it will depend on the image. Personally i'd try to crop images down to the relevant pieces, but it's really up to you. You may wish to save to a more compressed format like .jpg instead of .png if you use larger images. You can browse other uploaded images at Special:Log/upload to see what sizes of images other users have used in the past.
Lists of Crystals
I'm starting to add spoilered lists of crystals. It might take me a few days but I'll keep chipping away at it. I think this is useful because some people, myself included, might not know that a Ruby is an orange crystal for example. Ransel (talk) 13:41, 28 July 2021 (EDT)
I finished adding the full lists of crystals into the gem table. Hopefully someone more familiar with surveying will edit down the lists now. I also created wiki tables of the crystals which may prove useful in the future. Ie List of Orange Crystals. Ransel (talk) 14:25, 28 July 2021 (EDT)
