Far more than just creating hand tools, an expert Toolcrafter is a master of repurposing found materials, and can create belts, armors, and even weapons from unusual materials. This equipment is usually designed to meet very specialized needs.

* [[Yogzi]] teaches Toolcrafting if your [[Blacksmithing]] and or [[Carpentry]] are is level 20. She (Yogzi's dialog in-game indicates both Carpentry and Blacksmithing must be 20, but having only one of the two is sufficient). Yogzi also trains most of the main recipes below 50.
* [[Sie Antry]] in Eltibule will teach you how to make all kinds of gear from the body parts of vanquished Snailsstarting at [[Toolcrafting]] level 32.
* [[Amutasa]] will unlock levels 51-60, 61-70, and teaches level 51+ recipes, as well as the mid-level hammer recipes (Shaping Hammer, Tack Hammer, and Delicate Tack Hammer).
