[[User:BetaNotus]] showed me a preview of the new item template, and it looks amazing. Thanks for the welcome! I'm about as new to Project Gorgon as you can get, and I'm enjoying learning about the game. I know little about the game right now and I've found the wiki helpful, and I try to contribute what I can in return. My general philosophy on editing wiki's has always been to make a few changes and learn from the people who have been around longer when they point out things, like when you and BetaNotus informed me about the way the wiki collects information directly from the game data. Eventually, I may learn enough to contribute more than a few changes, but I'll try not to cause too much headache for other editors in the process. I'll see if I figure out how to read the game data soon, but in the mean time, I'll try to focus more on "quality of life" wiki edits that make it easier people who use the wiki to find stuff. Maybe stuff like linking "categories of items" to NPC favor subsections like I did with Fainor. A change like that is possibly something that could be added to a template or bot run in the future, but I'm no where familiar enough with this wiki to attempt that at this time. I've only checked Baked Potato and Baked Beets so far, are on v337, which produces icon text.
Updating it to v352, or v374, shows the actual little picture.
The cooking page itself uses the Item Icon template.
I am assuming these are all duplicated rather than transcluded to lower server overhead. Do I need to update manually or ask for a bot run like I ahave on Discord? [[User:Litrevan|Litrevan]] ([[User talk:Litrevan|talk]]) 10:12, 14 December 2022 (EST)
