Arisetsu's Gift, Part 3

Summary

Aralorn in Gazluk gave you a handwritten hymn to Arisetsu called "A Dream of Morning" and instructed you to read it aloud at the lectern in the old Presonbule Church.

[Note: Read the hymn by interacting with the lectern, do not simply read the hymn out loud from your inventory.

Prerequisites

To start this quest, talk to Aralorn in Gazluk. The quest is available at [Comfortable] favor. You must also have completed "Attempt to dream about Arisetsu" before this quest is available. You get the quest through conversation with Aralorn, not through Do Favor.

Preface

“

Agred. Now here, take the hymn. Go and read it at the Prestonbule lectern, and be ready for anything. I don't know what to expect, but I would expect it to be profound.

Notes

• Can trigger this event even if Church is already active.
• Multiple people can read their books at the same time, only 1 event will spawn, and everyone gets credit.
• If you sell/discard/use the book, you will be unable to progress until you find another "A Dream of Morning" by Aralorn; Hymnals seem to drop from any L70+ enemy or can be purchased/acquired from other players.

Requirements

• Read "A Dream of Morning" aloud at the Prestonbule Church's lectern
• Kill the Ancient High Priest
• Talk to Aralorn

Reading the book will start an event that continually spawns ghosts in the church. After killing 12 (needs confirmation) ghosts the Ancient High Priest will spawn.

“

The warmth feels... steady, now. There is no other way to describe it. Whatever it was that you did at that church, I do not know the specifics. But I do know that it pleases Arisetsu.

I believe our work here is done, for now. When you have time, say a prayer before bed and seek Arisetsu's vision once more. I suspect she wants to show you something.
