Introduction
“Grow, damn you!
Who, me?
Not you! This tree! I'm losing to the Wombat!
Beg pardon?
The other druids were showing off. Silvia filled her home with flowers, Bernard grew a wall of palm trees to surround his bed. I showed off how quickly I could grow a tree. Grew this one in a day!
Impressive!
Except then the Wombat laughed and grew that other tree there, even taller than mine, in half the time. And... I can't make mine grow any more! Damn you, tree!
Huh. Well, can I help?
You're not even a druid! How could you help? No, no. Leave me to this! I can do it! Stop doubting me!
Okay...
Greeting
“I'm trying to grow this tree right now... what is it?
Small Talk
Variation 1
“I am the master of mind over matter. Or at least I thought I was, before becoming a druid.
Variation 2
“Everyone's better than me at growing plants. It's infuriating! I *will* grow this tree! Grow, damn you!
Variation 3
“Among orcs I am feared and respected for my psychic powers. But among druids I seem ... merely adequate. These elven druids can teach me much about control. It's a pity they're so annoying.
