Overview

Wild horses can be tamed, allowing players to mount and ride them. Taming a wild horse requires a Horse Apple, grown from an Horse Apple Seedling. Seedlings can be obtained as a one-time bonus upon petting 10 wild horses or as a potential reward from completing Horse Thieves events. At the end of a Horse Thieves event, players receive rewards and the captured horses are set free and can then be pet and tamed.

The Riding skill must be unlocked to travel on a stabled horse. Riding can be learned by petting 10 wild horses, completing Mythander in Eltibule's Mystery Rocks quest, or by paying Mythander 3000 Councils. Riding stats can be improved by equipping Reins, Horseshoes, Saddles, and Saddlebags.

Horses can be bred using the Animal Husbandry skill. Animal husbandry requires Animal Handling level 50 to learn.
