Egg run is an event that occurs every 2 hours in Aktaari Cave, and lasts for 1 hour each time. Large groups of players travel through the caves together, slaying strong enemies and smashing eggs for loot:
- Players who have at least one combat skill above 70 will get skill books and level 90 equipment drops.
- Players who do not have at least one combat skill above 70 will still get level 90 equipment drops, but they will not get skill book drops.
Players usually gather in Red Wing Casino shortly before an egg run is scheduled to start, and then someone will usually summon a portal from there to Errruka's Cave. All the players then go through the portal and run a short distance to where the egg run begins.
