“A measure of your renown. You earn Notoriety the first time you defeat certain enemies (typically any monster with a proper name), and for completing particularly difficult quests.
Notoriety is raised by defeating named creatures and completing certain quests. The amount of Notoriety gained will be echoed in your chat window. When looking through this wiki, pretty much all named creatures listed under "Special Foes", as well as Bosses, give Notoriety.
Notoriety unlocks small, but permanent bonuses. Here is an example at level 22:
- NPC Max Purchase Caps +3%
- Cost of NPC Training -2%
- Favor Earned From Gifts +3%
- Favor Earned from Hanging Out +4%
Bonus Experience
