Blue surveys are best to get the Amethyst required for teleportation.

Clicking the map survey a little red spot will blink on the minimap. A lot of running may be involved checking each location. One approach would be to focus on surveys that appear in the same quadrant of the map before moving on to the rest. Unfortunately as of the alpha, items can not be freely rearranged in the inventory so you have to remember which ones are in nearby locations on the map and exactly which ones they were in your bag!
