Sandra previously worked as a Producer on Asheron’s Call 1, Asheron’s Call: Throne of Destiny, EverQuest II, and EverQuest II: Echoes of Faydwer.* In February 2022, it was announced that Sandra had a rare form of cancer.* On January 25th, 2025, Sandra passed away at the age of 52.* For many years, Sandra was an established member of the WOW community, maintaining the fansite Petopia and creating Warcraft Mounts. Her in-game name was "Mania."* There are two tributes to her in WOW. The first is the "Beastmaster Mania" NPC behind Trueshot Lodge in Highmountain. Ainamiss the Hive Queen in Tanaris is also a reference to Sandra.
