Right click a survey in your inventory and a little red spot will blink on the minimap (it can be difficult to see if it is on a bright area, it seems to blend in). An on screen message will also give you approximate distances, though it is less practical.
A lot of common technique for running may be involved checking each location. Unfortunately as of multiple surveys is to sort the maps by the alpha, items can not be freely rearranged "quadrant" they're in on the inventory so as you map, and then run around you may have to right click all the surveys continually to find the ones closest to where you are.through each quadrant!
