Corrected levels for mushroom suspensions
* The book [[Alchemy: Safe Brain Boosts For Beginners]] is a random drop from various mobs, and contains a level 0 Alchemy recipe. It can often be found on the '''Buy Used''' tab at vendors such as [[Hulon]], [[Velkort]] or [[Fainor]].
* [[Marna]] will teach [[Recipe: {{Item|Poison Resistance Potion]]}}, a level 0 Alchemy recipe, if you gain favor with her.
* [[Therese]] will teach [['''Recipe: Bone Meal (From Any Bone)]] ''' and [['''Recipe: Bone Meal (From Humanoid Skull)]] ''' (both level 0 Alchemy recipes) if you gain favor with her.
Once a level 0 recipe is learned, use that recipe to gain Alchemy XP and the [[Alchemy]] skill. Repeat the recipe, and/or use additional recipes to gain more experience (first use of any recipe gives an XP bonus), and increase your skill level. As your skill level increases, greater experience gains may be achieved by continuing to learn additional recipes from various books (see below).
* [[Gardening]] - Alchemy can be used to create [[Bone Meal]], which is sometimes used as fertilizer.
