Some NPCs may interact with harmless animals (eg Deer), but a considerable number flat-out refuse to speak with any non-humanoids. Others may require a bribe or favor to open their minds to the fact you're more than some filthy animal. === Riding ===As a [[Beast Forms|Beast Form]], Deer are not able to use the traditional Horse mounts offered through [[Riding]]. Instead, [[Silvia]] in [[Sun Vale]] teaches a mount-form to [[Deer]] players who are at least level 25, as well as a speed-up ability that reduces mount anxiety and increases jump height.

Currently what you eat doesn't really change your experience as a deer, though eating meals prepared from deer meat may leave you with a guilty conscious but they probably deserved it anyway so enjoy.
