The skill [[Ice Magic]] can be viewed as expensive due to the ingredients required ingredients used in for spell research: {{Item|Ice Core}}, {{Item|Tundra Lichen}}, {{Item|Orcish Spell Pouch}} and {{Item|Frost Nib}}recipes. Note that researching is ''not'' a lottery, each Each recipe can only be completed unlocks a number selection of times so the amount of ingredients required is fixed. The research mechanic simply adds abilities in a little randomness to the random order in which you receive the abilities.
