It's time for Alharth's holiday season! All the townsfolk that you've befriended (meaning you have Friends favor-level or higher) will have gifts for you when you speak to them. Make sure to have your favorite combat skills active, because if they give you equipment, it will likely be tailored to those skills.

The human celebration of Ri-Shin is also in full force, and townsfolk in every town and settlement need your help setting up their Ri-Shin trees! Look for townsfolk wearing a red festive Ri-Shin hat. There are trees to set up in Serbule, Serbule Hills, Eltibule, Kur, Gazluk, Ilmari, Rahu, the Fae Realm, Sun Vale, Povus, and Red Wing Casino.

Winter Holiday Gift
For more information on Winter Holiday gifts, given out by NPCs each year between Ri-Shin and New Years' Day, visit the Ri-Shin Holiday Gifts page.
Shrine of Ri-Shin
Found west of the Eltibule portal in the Kur Mountains, the Shrine of Ri-Shin is an anchor of the god of plants and trees. Maintained primarily by Snowleaf and the Druids of Alharth, the shrine offers rewards to those who seek the bounty of Ri-Shin.

Once unlocked, the blessing of Ri-Shin can be received by travelers standing in the shrine pool that speak words of praise in Nearby chat, Praise Ri-Shin, guardian of the shrine! This blessing can be received once every 20 hours.
Unlocking the Shrine
Druids automatically unlock the Shrine of Ri-Shin quest, allowing them to donate items to the shrine through Snowleaf. Adventurers pledged to other gods, or none at all, must prove themselves a friend of Ri-Shin. Decorating Ri-Shin trees raises a hidden favor value with Ri-Shin, demonstrating your dedication to the holiday spirit. Completely decorating the trees in Serbule Hills, Serbule, Eltibule, and Sun Vale is enough to receive permission to help at the shrine, however mostly completing quests at more than four trees can also work. Donators to the shrine in previous years also automatically receive the Shrine of Ri-Shin quest.

Shrine Tasks
Each task given by Snowleaf requires a quantity of items sacred to Ri-Shin to be gathered and turned in. Snowleaf calculates the value of donations to the shrine using a cumulative point system.
* The first time 99 points is reached during any round, the Cosmetic Pet ability <!-- Summon a Mini-ReindeerSummon a Mini-Reindeer --> ??? will be awarded.
* If the shrine is fully activated and normal donations have ended, those who have not received the Cosmetic Pet can turn in Wood (Any type) to build points.
* Every 99 points earned after learning the Cosmetic Pet ability rewards a Ri-Shin Token.
* Points are cumulative. If 40 1-point items are turned in just before the end of a task, only 59 items of equal point value are required during a later task to earn a Ri-Shin Token.

Tree Decorating
Eleven undecorated Ri-Shin trees can be discovered across Alharth, usually in areas populated by friendly NPCs. An NPC near each tree, usually wearing a red Ri-Shin hat, will automatically give out a quest associated with the decorating of their tree. Adventurers must continue to speak to the NPC, accepting additional quests from their Do Favor menu to actually complete the tree.

Once a tree is fully decorated, a present will appear under it. For the rest of the event, a new present will appear under each completed tree. The respawn time for a present is sixteen hours.
Special Ri-Shin Tree Gifts
; Equipment received from presents will usually use the two active skills at the time the present is opened. Equipment levels generally match the highest level of loot dropped by enemies in whichever zone the present is opened in.
