Once she's Comfortable with you, Jaime will give you a few starting ingredients and teach you the recipe for '''[[Serbule Rubywall Mineral Survey|Serbule Rubywall Crystal Survey]]''' and '''[[Serbule Hills Rubywall Mineral Survey|Serbule Hills Rubywall Crystal Survey]]'''. In the Recipe window, you can see that they require 1 Simple Parchment, 1 Basic Ink, and 1 [[Rubywall Crystal]] (only a 20% chance to consume the Crystal). The parchment and ink can be bought from Jaime.
: Once you get all three ingredients you can create a map by pushing the 'Survey' button on the recipe. The survey map will be placed in your inventory. You will need to be in the area (ie. [[Serbule]] or [[Serbule Hills]]) for which you want to create a survey.
