* In addition to the above possibilities for favor, any gem can be used for favor with [[Azalak]], [[Blanche]], [[Echur]], [[Larsan]], [[Preta]], [[Spot]], or [[Urzab]].
* Gems are used in various crafting recipes to create Enchanted equipment. They're placed into the Primary Crystal and Auxiliary Crystal slots.
* Danburite can currently be used for Endurance mods ([[Endurance/Treasure_Effects]]),<sup>Needs confirmation</sup> possibly including extraction of augments. <sup>Needs confirmation</sup>.
* Goshenite and Sunstone are permanently set to Generic mods ([[All_Skills/Treasure_Effects]]), confirmed by Citan in [[Game_updates/2018-06-20]].
* The other "Ilmari" gems and Rubywall Crystals are currently set to Generic mods<sup>Needs confirmation</sup> .
* "Ilmari" gems earned their name from their introduction in the [[Game_updates/2015-07-01|1 July 2015 update]], introducing both these 'gems for high-level skills that aren't yet implemented' which were 'added early so that their associated dye colors could be made', and the Ilmari region.
* Diamonds are used for the resurrection ability(2 each).
* From the introduction of the Winter Nexus on [[Game updates/2014-11-16|16 November, 2014]] until [[Game_updates/2018-09-21#Other_Changes_.26_Fixes|21 September, 2018]] Winterprize gems could also be used for the resurrection spell (2 each).
