Talk:Monsters and Mantids - Player's Handbook

Does this still exist?

I can't seem to find the player's handbook, but that doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't exist of course. I do notice that all the mantis dealers say the details written here verbatim when you click the "view instructions" option though. This makes me think the book might have been removed and then replaced with an npc dialogue option?

Sorry about using the delete tag, I didn't see a merge or rename tag anywhere. On a related note, would it be possible to create a category for templates so its easier to identify which ones are used on this wiki. Thanks for the great work on the wiki! Ransel (talk) 16:10, 8 June 2021 (EDT)

Lorebooks don't have to be physical books. They are anything found under the 'Books and Lore' tab, which is accessed by clicking the book icon in the righthand sidebar. This lorebook is still in the game; it can be found at a monsters & mantids table by clicking 'View Instructions', as you noticed.
I'm not sure what you are looking for exactly regarding templates. Probably just this: Category:Templates ? --Alleryn (talk) 18:34, 8 June 2021 (EDT)
Ahh yes, that's what I meant. I wasn't sure if there was a physical location to find it, but I see it in my lore books after I talked to the "dealer" npc. I'll read through the templates categories and try to understand how things are organized. What I meant by a "merged" or "rename" template is that some wiki's I've been on have had a tag/flag that users could put on a page to question aspects of said wiki page. Ie.. if an item has been removed from a game or undergone a name change. Another thing I've seen is if people have question about a specific part of a page, a person could put an "accuracy/fact check/dispute" flag on that one part of the page instead of editing the talk page. The majority of people, especially on gaming wiki's, completely ignore talk pages which makes flags and such helpful to get a conversation going. I'd suggest some sort of "flag" for pages with questions. Possibly something with an inline info request, or maybe just something like this at the top of the page with a link to the talk page?
