An interesting mechanic is that [[Fire Magic]] has a “Fire Wall” pet that just stands around and burns things. It’s implemented as a pet internally, but since it’s a wall, it can’t follow you around. It’s more like a trap. It can also be killed by enemies.

Not all staffs are produced with the proper runes to handle the use of magic. Casting [[Fire Magic]] requires the use of a [[:Category:Items/FireStaff|Fire Staff]]. Fire Magic wielders may also use an offhand Heat Orb to augment their abilities.
