A gem which has been improved with Winterprize via a Geology recipe, which can be learned from Fazzi in the Winter Nexus.
Maximized gems are used to create max-enchanted equipment, which has one more mod than a standard crafted piece of gear. (E.g. a yellow max-enchanted piece of equipment will have 6 mods instead of 5.) Note that not all max-enchanted equipment requires a maximized gem. Other crafting materials commonly used in the creation of max-enchanted equipment include Glowy Yellow Crystals and Vervadium.
There are four types of maximized gem:
- (used in Blacksmithing)
- (used in Toolcrafting)
- (used in Leatherworking)
- (used in Tailoring)
