Then a fool rakkie poisoned the water... that's the problem with rakkies, they're unpredictable. It made no sense. None! The poison killed most of the froggies down river but just pissed off the orcs, who came and got revenge. That started the downward cycle.

- No thanks. Look, you can try to sleep in one of the empty houses overnight if you really can't get somewhere safer. Be inconspicuous. Stay quiet. Keep your blade handy.

“Truth be told it's pretty hard to ruin a forge. The orcs tried to knock it down, but I just put it back up again. It's still consecrated, too. But one of these times they're gonna manage to break it for real, and then I'll be sunk!
“My forge is consecrated to Umrad, god of dwarves and metals. It cost a lifetime's fortune to get it made, too. The priests of Umrad don't work for cheap. I hear they make most of their income blessing forges.
