Necromancy
“Necromancy is control over the undead, along with other powers that trifle with mortality. To use necromantic abilities, you must be wielding or wearing a necromancy gem. You can often find these on weapons, and less often on pieces of armor. (If you are in a beast form, necromancy gems in weapons won't work, but ones in armor will.)
Necromancy is a skill that utilizes darkness and death to create servants as well as deal damage and steal the life-force of enemies.
Note: the skill is a no-frills version, with a more elaborate set of systems "coming soon". Please report your impression of the skill plus any problems you see![1]
The skill makes heavy use of bones. Femurs can be acquired easily from most skeletons. (In the future, Necromancers will have additional ways to get more bones.)
You can only raise skeletons within a graveyard, such as the one in the Southwest portion of Serbule (where the Crypt entrance is). If you want to raise skeletons elsewhere, you'll need to make your own makeshift graveyard. Any location with three player tombstones in close proximity will work.
Hints
- In order to raise a skeleton you need to be either in a graveyard (ie. Southwest of Serbule), or have at least three tombstones in your vicinity.
