[[Bosses]] generally use a '''First Kill''' mechanic which impacts the loot they drop. When you defeat a boss, a personal three-hour timer starts to count down. If the same boss is defeated again during those three hours the timer will not extend, but the quality and quantity of loot received is decreased. Many [[[Bosses]] have specific items they can only drop during their '''First Kill,''' and not during repeated kills until their timer resets.
