The lands were once home to the Duchy of Eltibule, though in recent years the land is patronless as each member of the Eltibule family met an ill fate. The items[[Eltibule Keep]], queststheir former seat of power, npcs has been maintained by former servants of the family and monsters located in this zone are generally passing merchants. Years ago, many merchants and craftsmen were drawn to the Eltibule area because of Council promises to drive out the goblins and establish a higher level new trade route starting in comparison Eltibule and going through the [[Kur Mountains]] to [[SerbuleGazluk]]. The road was never started, only one guard house was built, and the army traveling to pacify the region vanished. The rocky landscape of the region prevents extensive farming, however some residents have managed to carve out homesteads near the most prominent feature of Eltibule, its many lakes.

* Eltiuble was once known simply as the "Castle Zone."
* Originally, half the teleport platforms in the [[Eltibule]] region were of crone-design. They were represented by large flat stone disks covered in vines and moss.
