The [[Sidebar]], sometimes called the ability-bar or miscellaneous bar, is a portion of the UI which allows for the placement of items and abilities. Items and abilities placed in a sidebar slot can be activated through a direct click or the use of a bound [[Controls|key]]. There are six [[Sidebar]] slots by default, but a variety of methods can be used to temporarily increase the number of slots. Items which can be placed on the sidebar are usually consumables, falling into the categories of [[:Category:Items/Food|Food]] or [[:Category:Items/Potion|Potion]]. Consumables not in those categories such as [[Small Firework]] can also be placed on the sidebar.
