Rats, pigs, wolves and deer are good to start on. Even so, at low level the skill will fail a lot.
Good areas to raise the skill in Serbule are:
* Between the town and the [[Tutorial Cave]] (east on the minimap) lots of Pigs and Wolves
* In the [[Serbule Sewers]], lots of Sewer Rats
