Expertise with swords, rapiers, and the like. Swords are very damaging, and can reduce an opponent's Rage.

Sword is a combat skill that is received very early in the tutorial, after looting the body of a dead elf.

Sword skills have the following mechanics:

Goblin Merchants in Hogan's Keep: Decapitate (requires a lot of favor with Hogan); Heartpiercer (requires a lot of favor with Hogan)

Nelson Ballard in Serbule Keep: Precision Pierce 1-4 [neutral too low] : A Sword Ability that replaces Parry.; Flashing Strike 1-3 [neutral too low] : A Sword Ability that deals extra damage to undead.

Goblin Dungeon level 2: Decapitate Level 1-2 occasionally drops from mobs, scrolls lying around in Goblin Dungeon level 2.

Lucky Belts of the Hunter, Soldier and Gladiator can attune random-generated treasure to this skill.
