Tyler Green used to be a shield-bearer, before he was placed in the Prison Cave.

Tutorial Cave: On the right branch of the secret path, which is located on the right just before the exit.

The Battered Shield : Tyler repairs the Battered Shield and returns it to you. He also teaches how to repair armor (although by the time you have returned to the cave and defeated the Megaspider chances are you've already learned to use Simple Armor Patch Kits). He also hints that he could teach you to fight with a shield. Giving Tyler back the Battered Shield (the 'legacy' version) earns a good chunk of favor.

Give Lawara Confidence [Comfortable] : Tyler wants you to go talk to Lawara, an elf in the same cave.
