- The Battered Shield (takes you to Comfortable level) : Tyler repairs the Battered Shield and returns it to you. He also teaches how to repair armor (although by the time you have returned to the cave and defeated the Megaspider chances are you've already learned to use Simple Armor Patch Kits). He also hints that he could teach you to fight with a shield. Giving Tyler back the Battered Shield (the 'legacy' version) earns a good chunk of favor.
- Oranges : Tyler wants oranges to cure his scurvy!
- Give Lawara Confidence (Comfortable) : Tyler wants you to go talk to Lawara, an elf in the same cave.
