You can only raise skeletons within a graveyard, such as the one in the Southwest portion of Serbule (where the [[Serbule Crypt]] entrance is). If you want to raise skeletons elsewhere, you'll need to make your own makeshift graveyard. Any location with three player tombstones in close proximity will work.
<span style="color:red">NOTE!</span> Necromancy is currently obtained from an altar in a scroll called [[Symbols of Darkness]], which drops from [[Khyrulek's True Form]] on the second level of the Serbule Crypt. After getting the scroll you run into the next room where you find a [[Pulsing Crystal]] that you give scroll to for Necromancy skill. To solo your way there you have to get past the boss [[Khyrulek]] and her two Rhino bodyguards. Your best chance as a new player and even with level 30-ish skills... is to ask on global chat for a ride. Sometimes people offer a ride when they themselves go grab the skill.
