'''Surveying''' is a skill that produces surveys, which are a kind of map that reveals lead to gems and minerals. Creating surveys increases the location of a resource on surveying skill, while ''using'' the minimapsurveys increases [[geology]] (crystal surveys) and [[mining]] (mineral surveys).
Surveys come in several types:
A lot of running may be involved checking each location. Unfortunately as of the alpha, items can not be freely rearranged in the inventory so as you run around you may have to right click all the surveys continually to find the ones closest to where you are.
