“Hello. I'm looking to rehome some horses, if you know someone qualified.
Mythander is a elven skill trainer maintaining the remains of a horse pack in Eltibule. He teaches the Riding skill to passersby, and offers a horse in exchange for completing a task or paying a handful of councils.

Quests
Mine Mystery Rocks (Requires Mining 15)
“I suppose I could teach you horse-riding if you did a favor for me. You see, I despise goblins for obvious reasons, and there's talk of goblin miners in this area. I need to know what they're mining. You know how to kill a goblin, right? And swing a mining pick? Good, this should be easy for you!
I've heard there is a "model home" somewhere around here -- a fake house. If you climb into the basement and get past some goblins, there's a cave underneath. Find out what the goblins are mining in that cave! Go to the very end and mine whatever's there. Bring me a sample.

Services
Stable Master
Mythander offers access to the stable menu starting at [Neutral] favor.
He also offers adventurers the opportunity to learn Riding and obtain their first horse. A horse can be obtained by paying 3000 Councils or completing the Mine Mystery Rocks quest, if there is still a free space in the stable.
Conversations
“Hello.
I'm looking to rehome some horses, if you know someone qualified.
- How can I get a horse?
- Well, I've broken the horse in, so you don't need to be an animal expert or anything, but you should at least know how to ride a horse! Once you learn that, I'd be happy to give you a horse. For a small fee of 3000 Councils to cover my expense.
- How would I learn how to ride a horse?
- Well, where I come from, riding is something you learn as a child. (Mythander sniffs). But I suppose each society has unique expectations of their citizens. I could teach you the basics.
- Okay, please teach me!
- But teaching things is hard and boring. I suppose if you did a favor for me, I could take the time. Or alternatively, you could pay me a bunch of money.
First Horse Conversation
“Okay. I've moved (horse name) to your stable! You can start riding!
Of course, you won't have that great a time without a saddle. And Reins. And horseshoes. And a saddlebag.
And where do I get all that stuff
Not me. I've done enough!
“I came here in search of beautiful horses to take back with me to Verta. But the herd I remember is gone. I'm taking care of the stragglers for now, but I don't know what will happen to them when I leave.— Mythander, Small Talk
“If the Council is so great, why don't they send an army to reclaim this land? It's overrun by goblins and pest. Humans just aren't good stewards of their lands.— Mythander, Small Talk
“When I visited this region a few decades ago, there was a pack of beautiful wild horses. I guess the goblins ate them after Lore Eltibule abandoned his lands.— Mythander, Small Talk
Trivia
- Mythander was created years ago, but had no name or skills to offer until the Mount update on February 2, 2022.
