“Understanding of the rich history of art in Allhearth.
The purpose of Art History appears to be to identify pieces of art in order to sell them at a higher value. Another purpose may also be to receive more favor from NPCs who love art such as Sir Coth (to be confirmed).
Paintings are mainly found in the Goblin Dungeon at the moment, but also in some rooms of the Serbule Crypt. When these are picked up they appear as Unidentified Painting along with the required Art History level to identify it.

Learning the Skill and Using It
Talk to Jesina the fairy and complete a few errands for her.
Once you have acquired the skill, simply right-click a painting to appraise (ie. estimate) its true value.
Locations for Paintings
- Serbule Crypt : There are a few rooms with platforms and ledges from which you can grab paintings.
- Goblin Dungeon : Many paintings are found in the first big room, left branch, where a fairy is captive.
Examples
In general, paintings with higher values will give more xp when identified. They can also be identified by their golden border, instead of the normal brown one. Here are a few examples of identified paintings, roughly in order of increasing value:
