This area can be deadly for low level characters due to the poison stacking. In order to complete Blanche's quest, a poison resistance potion can be very helpful, negating almost all of the poison damage.
To gain access to the dungeon go through the following steps:
* complete Blanche's quest to get a sample from the red crystal
* Blanche asks you to talk to Velkort to learn how to gain access
* complete Velkort's quest to get a sample from the blue crystal in the Serbule Crypt (Velkort gives you the access code to pass the red force field; FYI no need to go past the big blue spider)
* remember the 'frequency' word that Velkort gives you.
