But seeing that most mantises fled for the hills yet she remained behind with me, it is possible that she wishes to mate with me badly enough to try a new method. Can you see if Zeratak is amenable to using venison for the larva? I would ask, but I fear she may lash out in anger.

And you must kill her. It is very sad, I know, but she is under the control of Tidal's renegade myconians. Look on the bright side: tenders are just meatlings, not mushrooms!
