__NOTOC__[[Soothsaying]] is not a skill, but a group of abilities in the [[Lore]] skill based around the viewing of '''Auguries'''. An adventurer can learn the four augury recipes (''Beginner's'', ''Basic'', ''Advanced''and ''Expert Augury'') from [[Ashk the Answerer]]. [[Ashk]] will teach Augury abilities with appropriate favor, and after you complete some favor quests for him. You must have either [[Meditation]] or [[Shamanic Infusion]] at level 50 before you may learn these skillsabilities.'''
Soothsaying is not a skill per se. One can use one of the four augury recipes (''Beginner's'', ''Basic'', ''Advanced'' and ''Expert Each Augury'') found among [[Lore Recipes]]. [[Ashk the Answerer]] will teach them with appropriate favor after you complete some errands for him. Each augury recipe gives a one hour buff and a new Augury can be repeated divulged every hour. The buff effect can be good positive or bad. Known effects are listed below. When the effect description indicates X% or N it means the percentage X or value N varies with negative depending on the recipe: ''Expert Augury'' gives a higher percentage (both good and bad) than ''Beginner's Augury''. {| {{STDT}}!
