The purpose of '''Art History ''' appears to be to identify pieces of art in order to sell them at a higher value. Another purpose may also be to receive more favor from NPCs who love art such as [[Sir Coth]] (to be confirmed).
For example many paintings can be found in the [[Goblin Dungeon]]. When these are picked up they appear as '''Unidentified Painting''' along with the required Art History level to identify it.
