Preface

In captivity we were forced to mate like animals -- the male giving his life to feed the younglings. But now that we are free, do you not agree we should adopt the culture of a more civilized race?

I wish to mate with Zeratak, but I fear that she will not understand my desires. She is a very conservative mantis. But seeing that most mantises fled for the hills yet she remained behind with me, it is possible that she wishes to mate with me badly enough to try a new method. Can you see if Zeratak is amenable to using venison for the larva? I would ask, but I fear she may lash out in anger.
