Kur Mountains

Kur Moutains is a massive, bitter cold mountainous region.

An interesting mechanic in this zone, is that the player character takes damage over time due to the freezing temperatures. The in game notification advises the player to look for regeneration through equipment and skills in order to survive the harsh environment. Failure to take the advice may lead to death by exposure to freezing temperatures.

Smoldering Fire can be found at a camp with a hut. If you light it with 1 piece of oak wood, it will burn for 10 minutes during which you are relieved of the freezing temperatures debuff. This could be a good spot to hunt around if you can barely survive there (ed: perhaps it was also intended as a way to cure Hypothermia, needs testing).
