Shrine
Shrines serve two purposes; They can teach you new skill lines, such as Animal Handling, Druid, or Necromancy, or they can give you lore XP and an item for solving their riddles. Because the class shrines are covered elsewhere, this page shall be mostly used for the riddle shrines. Important: While solving their riddles is a good source of lore XP, they require you to sacrifice an item, which is lost forever, even if it isn't the correct answer. Finally, every riddle shrine asks for an item that can be gained nearby. Use this to help you if you're stuck and don't want to click the spoiler buttons.
