Anatomy
“Knowledge of the physiology of creatures in general. This is an umbrella skill that encompasses a vast suite of sub-skills for particular types of creatures. This skill represents generalized knowledge that applies to all creatures in the world.
The Anatomy skill is a parent skill for a number of creature-specific Anatomy skills, such as Canine Anatomy and Fungoid Anatomy. As these sub-skills improve more details will be revealed about the creature such as their combat abilities and their particular weaknesses (eg. Weak to Poison, Resistant to Slash damage). You will also gain Archery Crit% and butchering/skinning bonuses, if applicable.
XP Gain
For a succesful autopsy, you gain Enemy level + 10 XP in the anatomy skill that matches the enemy monster. For example, if you skin a a level 45 Bloodthirsty Werewolf in the Wolf Cave, you would gain 55 XP in Canine Anatomy.
Autopsy Kit
An Autopsy Kit is required (in your inventory) to have the option to Examine the corpse of slain creatures and gain physiology knowledge for this creature type. It can be obtained from Lawara in the Tutorial Cave at Comfortable favor, or bought from Mushroom Jack in Serbule Keep.
